National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the 71st International Technical Fair

 From 28 September to 3 October 2015 Belarus will be presenting the National Exposition in the framework of the 71^st International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

The National Exposition is planned to be attended by research institutes and divisions of the National Academy of Science and Ministry of Education, Belarusian enterprises working in the sphere of industry, machinery and transport equipment, electrical engineering, power engineering and ecology, construction, chemical industry, mining, etc.

The International Technical Fair is one of the most distinguished business events in the field of technological innovations and investments in Southeast Europe. The world’s leading companies demonstrate its latest achievements in the field of machinery and transport, IT and software, electrical engineering, and other modern industrial areas.

The International Technical Fair in Plovdiv includes a series of thematic contests and combines 10 international specialized exhibitions:

• AQUATECH – Water Management and Technologies

• AUTOTECH – Transport and Auto Service Equipment

• ELTECH – Electronics and Electrical Engineering

• ENECO – Power Engineering and Ecology

• INFOTECH – Information Technologies

• MACHINE BUILDING – Machine-building Technologies and know-how

• STROYTECH – Building Materials, Machines and Technologies

• CHEMICAL INDUSTRY – Chemical products, Machinery and Equipment

• INTERMIN EXPO – International Exhibition of Mining Industry

• MOTOR SHOW – PLOVDIV

Series of accompanying events is held in the framework of the International Technical Fair (conferences, presentations, round tables, etc.) with the participation of heads of major companies and state organizations.

The trade fair is held on the premises of the Fairground of Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria. The exhibition area of the venue is 159 100 sq.m., including 64 500 sq.m. of indoor exhibition area. In 2014 the International Technical Fair was attended by 800 companies from 37 counties of the world. More than 30 000 specialists visited the Fair for the period of its operation. The event was officially launched by the Bulgarian Interim Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva.

The feature of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the 71^st International Technical Fair is the wide geography of potential business partners of the Belarusian companies, which includes all countries of the Balkan region. The National Exposition in Plovdiv aims to expand the Belarusian exports to Southeast Europe, to perform a wide presentation of the country’s economic capability and to form a positive image of the Republic of Belarus at the international arena.

In correspondence with the decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 31.12.2014 № 1293 the organizers of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus in the framework of the International Technical Fair are the Ministry of Industry, the State Committee on Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The exhibition operator of the exposition is “Belinterexpo” of the BelCCI.

Currently “Belinterexpo” is accepting applications for participation in the National Exposition of Belarus at the 71^st International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The event can be attended by all Belarusian companies regardless of the form of ownership. The applications for participation are accepted no later than August, 25, 2015.
